Autumn Walk at Chopwell Woods

What could be better than crunching our way through the autumn leaves at Chopwell Woods!

On a crisp day taking a walk here is stunning.  There are sculptures dotted about to spot as well as nods to the history of the site by way of the railway tracks and wagons.

If you’re really lucky you might just spy a deer.  As it was, we saw some grey squirrels and a red kite that the Derwent Valley is famous for.
